Q&A: OUR 50 HOUR ADVANCED YOGA TEACHER TRAINING
Your questions, answered
Every year we host a 50-hour yoga teacher training called La Práctica — created especially for teachers who want to return to their own practice, find new inspiration, and remember what it feels like to simply be a student again.
The idea for this training grew from our own experience as teachers. Between the two of us we’ve spent more than 28 years teaching and over 10,000 hours on the mat with students, and we know how important it is to keep learning, stay inspired, and sometimes return to the role of being a student ourselves.
With each training we add different “flavours”, exploring specific topics alongside the daily two-hour practice.
For our upcoming training in Italy, May 3–9, we’ll dive into the art of hands-on adjustments and creative sequencing for Vinyasa Flow. It’s a lot of fun!
We often get questions about the training, so we thought it would be a good idea to answer them for you here as well.
WHO IS THIS TRAINING FOR?
This training is designed for yoga teachers who have completed a 200-hour teacher training and want to deepen their practice while continuing to grow as teachers.
It’s for you who…
Love a strong asana practice but sometimes find it hard to challenge yourself enough on your own.
Crave fresh inspiration and new ideas for sequencing creative, intelligent Vinyasa classes.
Long to be guided and supported so you can feel the magic of the practice in your own body again.
Want to learn about hands-on adjustments and how to offer them safely and confidently in class.
Feel curious to explore new techniques for intermediate and advanced postures — in a playful way.
Happily jump out of bed early, excited to get on your mat alongside other dedicated yogis and teachers.
Love the idea of beginning the day with a 2-hour Vinyasa & Power Yoga practice, with time to flow deeply, meditate, practice pranayama, and savour a long Savasana.
Feel inspired by spending a week in a supportive yoga community of practitioners and teachers from around the world.
Appreciate the chance to step away from everyday life — to gain perspective, reflect on your path, and reconnect with your role as a yoga teacher.
Whether you’re actively teaching or not, freshly graduated from your 200-hour training, building your yoga business, or simply wanting to fill up your own cup, this immersive retreat and 50-hour YACEP training is for you.
What can I expect from the morning classes?
Each day begins at 7am with a two-hour morning practice blending Vinyasa, Power Yoga, pranayama, somatic movement, meditation, journaling, and a long Savasana.
We offer plenty of options in our classes, ensuring everyone feels supported and challenged at their level.
Our intention is to create a space where everyone is met where they are — whether you want to refine your practice, explore more challenging postures, or simply enjoy a strong and inspiring Vinyasa flow to start the day.
Deepen your practice alongside others.
I have completed a 200hr YTT but never taught. Can I still join?
Absolutely.
Our 50-hour training is designed to support both new and experienced yoga teachers, so even if you’ve never taught before, you’ll feel guided and supported throughout the process.
You’ll not only learn hands-on adjustments and creative sequencing, but you’ll also get plenty of teaching experience during the week.
Each teacher workshop gives you the chance to practice teaching in a supportive environment, receive direct feedback from us as lead trainers (Lisa and Nazareno), and build confidence leading a class.
This makes the training a great opportunity for teachers fresh out of a 200-hour YTT to gain practical experience, refine their teaching skills, and leave feeling more confident sharing yoga with others.
There’s something really special about being in a teachers bubble!
What type of certification will I receive upon completion?
After completing this 50-hour training, you’ll receive a certificate recognised by Yoga Alliance.
The training counts as continuing education for yoga teachers (YACEP), meaning it can be added to your ongoing professional development.
More than just a certificate, this week is an opportunity to reconnect with your own practice, deepen your understanding of Vinyasa, and grow your confidence as a teacher.
Together we explore creative sequencing, hands-on adjustments, and practical tools you can bring directly into your classes.
We spend lots of time practising hands-on adjustments and youll get direct feedback from both teachers and lead trainers.
What does a typical day look like?
Each day begins at 7am with a two-hour morning practice blending Vinyasa, Power Yoga, pranayama, somatic movement, meditation, journaling, and a proper long Savasana. We offer plenty of options in our classes so everyone feels supported and challenged at their level.
After brunch, at 10:30am, we come together for teacher workshops focused on Vinyasa sequencing and theming. Expect a blend of lectures, interactive workshops, and plenty of space for discussion. You’ll also have time for self-study and reflection.
At 2pm a hearty snack is served, followed by free time until 3:30pm.
In the afternoons we dive deep into hands-on adjustments, where you’ll learn how to safely and confidently adjust — both by giving and receiving adjustments. You’ll also receive valuable feedback from other students as well as the teachers.
The day concludes with a grounding practice blending yin, restorative yoga, and myofascial release — a quiet moment to integrate the day and wind down.
Dinner is served at 7:30pm.

WHY CHOOSE US?
This 50-hour training is an in-person, immersive experience — not an online training.
For us, practicing and learning together in the same space makes a big difference.
It allows for real-time feedback, hands-on guidance, and a depth of learning that simply can’t happen through a screen.
Throughout the week you’ll be surrounded by a supportive yoga community and experienced faculty, creating an environment where you can explore, practice, and grow as a teacher.
You’ll practice and learn directly with us, Lisa and Nazareno, teachers who have spent many years leading Vinyasa classes, retreats, and teacher trainings.
Much of what we share comes from years of teaching, refining our approach in real classes, and learning from the many students and teachers we’ve worked with over the years.
Because we keep the group small, we’re able to offer direct feedback and individual support throughout the training, making sure you feel seen, supported, and challenged in the right way.
Every detail of this week has been carefully curated, and our intention is that you leave feeling stronger in your practice, inspired in your teaching, and more confident sharing yoga with others.
Daily 2 hour morning Sadhana, practice.
If this training speaks to you and you feel ready to deepen your practice and grow as a teacher, we’d love to welcome you.
And please do reach out if you have any questions.
You can check our calendar for upcoming dates and locations, and if you feel like trying our classes, you can practice with us online here.
