This immersive, retreat-style training is inspired by the saying, “Practice, practice, and all is coming.”

Set at the beautiful Cucumbi in Alentejo, just 1.5 hours from Lisbon, you’ll leave this training feeling stronger, more grounded, and re-inspired in your practice and teaching.
This training can be registered as 50 hours of Continuing Education (YACEP) with Yoga Alliance and is also open to non-teachers who wish to join as a yoga retreat experience.

Who is this 50-Hour Teacher Training for?
This is for you if you:
Love a strong practice, but feel you don’t always get the chance to deepen and evolve it enough in a studio class or when you practice on your own.
Crave fresh inspiration and new ideas for creative, intelligent Vinyasa sequencing.
Long to be guided and held — to reconnect with the magic of the practice in your own body again.
Want to deepen your practice and explore new techniques for intermediate and advanced postures in a playful and supportive way.
Will jump out of bed early, excited to step onto your mat alongside other dedicated yogis and teachers.
Love the idea of a 2-hour strong Vinyasa practice, with plenty of time to flow, meditate, practice pranayama, and savour a long Savasana.
Want to spend a week immersed in a supportive yoga community of dedicated practitioners and teachers, making new friends from all over the world.
Feel called to disconnect from daily life, gain perspective, reflect on your present and future, and — if you teach — your role as a yoga teacher.
Long to feel more confident in front of a room, trust your own voice, and hold space with more ease as a teacher.
Whether you’re actively teaching, building your yoga business, fresh out of training, or simply wanting to fill up your cup, this immersive retreat and 50-hour YACEP training is for you.
Not a yoga teacher? You’re still welcome to join this immersion as a retreat experience. We have a limited number of spots available for dedicated practitioners who want to deepen their practice and fully immerse themselves in the experience. If you’re unsure if this is the right fit for you, get in touch and we’ll explore it together.
“I had the perfect 50-hour YTT with Lisa and Naza. On one hand, I was able to deepen my own practice, and on the other hand, I improved my teaching skills in such a creative and inspiring way.
The time passed way too quickly!
12/10 stars.
Lisa and Naza are two of the most lovely people I have ever met, they are truly experienced and professional in every way”.

The Program
This 50-hour teacher training begins at 4pm. Check-in is from 2pm.
You’ll have time to arrive, settle in, and land before we come together for a welcome circle, practice and dinner on the first evening.
Each day begins at 7am with a two-hour practice blending Vinyasa, Power Yoga, pranayama, meditation and a long Savasana. The class is open-level with lots of options to explore, meeting everyone where they are in their practice.
A generous brunch is served at 9am, followed by free time until 10.30am.
After brunch and throughout the afternoons, we gather for teacher workshops exploring creative sequencing, hands-on adjustments and the art of teaching Vinyasa Flow.
A hearty afternoon snack is served to keep you nourished until dinner.
Expect a blend of inspiring lectures, interactive workshops, sequencing and teaching labs, along with plenty of space for meaningful discussions, self-study and reflection.
Each day closes with a grounding Yin/restorative practice to help you integrate the day and unwind.
Dinner is served at 7pm.
The last full day of the training is dedicated to students teaching their final classes, integrating everything they’ve learned while receiving guidance and feedback as part of the certification process.
On the final day, we close with a morning practice followed by brunch.

CUCUMBI - AN OASIS of tranquility
Cucumbi is one of those places where, as soon as you arrive, your shoulders drop and a sense of calm washes over you. The energy here is truly special — something you’ll want to experience for yourself.
Cucumbi Farm is located in the tiny village of Barrancão in the Alentejo region, southeast of Lisbon, about 30 minutes inland from the coast and roughly a 1.5-hour drive from Lisbon.
The farm offers 10 beautifully minimalist rooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. You’ll find double rooms with queen- or king-size beds, as well as twin rooms. Some rooms are located in spacious apartments with their own kitchen, fireplace and living room.
Beyond the beautifully designed rooms, Cucumbi features a large saltwater swimming pool, a spacious living room, a gorgeous communal kitchen with an honesty bar, a small shop and a stunning restaurant where our meals will be served.
The impressive 112-hectare farmland includes two trails (3–5 km) through breathtaking landscapes of rolling hills and around several lakes.
You can explore the property by bike, take a stand-up paddle board out on the water or enjoy a peaceful canoe ride on the lake.
We know you’ll fall in love with Cucumbi — it’s as simple as that. The only downside? You might not want to leave.
HOW TO GET HERE
Whether you’re travelling from Lisbon city centre or the airport, the easiest way to reach Cucumbi is by Uber or Bolt (usually around €60–70) or by renting a car. The journey takes approximately 1–1.5 hours. We’re more than happy to connect you with others to share the ride and split the cost.

“I'm beyond grateful for this experience. I needed an advanced course for yoga teachers, but at the same time, I needed a space where I could feel supported and able to learn even though I had been teaching for so long. I loved the location, the course offerings and the date offered. I was able to advance my knowledge of hands-on assistance and sequencing.
Definitely happened!
Naza and Lisa are phenomenal.”

In this 50-hour training, we’ll explore different approaches to creating creative and intelligent Vinyasa Flow sequences, including progressive (also called ladder) flow, peak pose planning, and half and full mandala sequencing.
You’ll learn how to build classes with intention, explore different sequencing structures, and develop more confidence in creating your own unique flows.
You’ll also have opportunities to practise sequencing, receive feedback and refine your teaching approach throughout the training.
If you have any further questions about the program, feel free to reach out, we’d love to connect.
-
The amount we cover will depend a little on the group, but hands-on adjustments are an important part of this training.
We’ll explore the principles behind offering safe, supportive and intentional adjustments, including what to consider when using touch, how to communicate through your hands, and how to adapt your approach to different bodies.
We’ll practise adjustments in many different poses across all asana families, including Sun Salutation A and key postures commonly found in Vinyasa Flow classes. While it’s not possible to cover every single asana, you’ll build a strong foundation that you can apply throughout your teaching.
A big part of the training is practical — you’ll have plenty of opportunities to practise giving hands-on adjustments, with feedback from fellow teachers and guidance from the lead trainers.
-
No, this is a standalone 50-hour Continuing Education training registered with Yoga Alliance (YACEP).
It is designed for yoga teachers who want to deepen their practice, expand their teaching skills and gain fresh inspiration, but it is not part of a larger 300-hour teacher training program.
The 50 hours can be used as Continuing Education hours for teachers who are already registered with Yoga Alliance.
-
You’ll receive a 50-hour Continuing Education certificate (YACEP) with Yoga Alliance upon completion of the training. This means the training can be registered as continuing education hours for yoga teachers who are already certified with Yoga Alliance.
To complete the training, you’ll be required to teach a final class incorporating the elements explored throughout the week. You’ll receive feedback and guidance as part of the process, and the certificate will be issued once the final teaching assessment has been completed and approved.
The certificate recognises your participation in the full 50-hour immersion, including the practices, workshops, sequencing labs and teaching elements.
