INSPIRO YOGA RETREATS LISA AND NAZARENO

Our Story

Who we are and how it all started…

First of all nice to meet you! - we’re Lisa from Sweden and Nazareno from Uruguay!

We are Vinyasa enthusiasts and yoga teachers, teaching full-time around the world since 2012. We’re also couple since 2003.

Unshakable optimists, food lovers, always keen to explore new places - in love with life and all its beauty!

In 2012, after living and traveling the world for almost 10 years together, our shared interest in yoga and healthy food was growing.

We decided to both quit our full-time jobs in Copenhagen at the time.

Needless to say, we didn’t have a plan.

“ALL WE KNEW WAS THAT WE WANTED A CHANGE IN LIFE”

Shortly thereafter we left for Ubud, Bali, the so-called mecca of yoga.

After 3 years of living and teaching yoga full-time on the island, completely immersing ourselves into trainings, assisting and mentoring on other teachers' retreats and trainings - an idea started to grow.

As we thought about all that we’d learnt about yoga, having a healthy lifestyle and how much we loved being part of a community of like minded people, we thought…

What if we started a company combining all these things we’re so passionate about?!

Empowering, strong Vinyasa, wholesome lovingly prepared food and inspiring places surrounded by or close to nature. Bringing people from all over the world together as a community.

THAT’S HOW INSPIRO YOGA WAS BORN!

Since then we’ve taught 80+ retreats in different countries, studio classes, workshops, teacher trainings as well as setting up our own ONLINE YOGA STUDIO!

It would be a true joy to meet you and share the magic of yoga together somewhere in the world!

“If you wish to immerse yourself in a yoga experience which boomerangs in an avalanche of positivity, taking class with Lisa and Nazareno is a no-brainer. They make the practice of yoga, and the teaching of that practice, something truly special.”

More About Us

Lisa Andersson Rhodiner

WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT VINYASA IS THE ENDLESS CREATIVITY AND FREEDOM IT GIVES ME, BOTH AS A PRACTITIONER AND TEACHER.

Being a lover of all things creative, dance and music, it’s no wonder I fell in love with Vinyasa, and pretty much all things related to yoga.

In 2011 as I stepped into a “real” yoga studio, after only practicing in gyms - something inside me changed.

All I could think of was yoga and that I really wanted to learn more about it and how to teach it. I was eager to know what this practice, that was transforming me on such a deep level, was all about.

Not long thereafter I left my full-time job.

With a growing curiosity for yoga, along with an interest in learning more about healthy food I could only think of one destination to go - Bali

Although the road to become a teacher, to teach full time and to be able to make a living off it hasn’t always been easy, I’ve never regretted that I followed my intuition, drive and heart to go for what I’d say is my calling.

Since 2012 and my first yoga teacher training I’ve completed more than 1000 hours of trainings and I’ve taught more than 5000 hours of classes, workshops, retreats and teacher trainings around the world. And STILL I keep learning each time I have a new group of students in front of me or I dive into deeper studies.

That’s the beauty of yoga - it’s a wonderful yet mystical ocean, that once you dip your toes into - you just want more.

In my classes you can expect creative fluid sequences, thoughtful transitions, inspiring playlists, a lot of hip openers (yep, I’m known for them!) and intentional hands-on adjustments.

Apart from leading retreats I’m also the co-founder of True North Vinyasa Teacher Trainings guiding students as they blossom into beautiful yoga teachers and offer Mentorship and Coaching for yoga teachers.

“MY CURIOSITY HAS BROUGHT ME TO PLACES, TO EXPERIENCES AND PEOPLE WHICH ALTOGETHER HAVE SHAPED THE WAY I LIVE MY LIFE TODAY.”

Born and raised in Uruguay I’m an enthusiastic lover of movement, play and nature.

Since I was 19 I’ve been exploring the world, living and learning in more places that I can remember.

My life has been, and still is today - a big adventure.

As I traveled Asia in 2004 I discovered the practice of Ashtanga Vinyasa, a physically demanding yoga style that requires strong discipline, dedication and body awareness. I got completely hooked.

A couple of years later I got introduced to Vinyasa Flow and not long thereafter I took my yoga first teacher training in India.

Since 2011 I’ve been dedicating my life to yoga, both as a teacher and student.

In my classes you can expect a fun and playlful environment where you’ll be guided through powerful sequences, spicy core work and very likely an arm balance or two! I’ll challenge you to go beyond your comfort zone in a light-hearted way.

For me the most important thing is that you really listen to your body.

Apart from yoga I’m a passionate surfer and I take every chance I get to grab my board and jump into the ocean. Whether in the tropics, Portugal or in the freezing water in Sweden.
