GREEN PROTEIN-RICH SUMMER SMOOTHIE
As I got a Vitamix (best blender ever!) for my birthday I’m experimenting a lot with new recipes, here’s one I’ve been making lately, trying to get in a lot of protein and healthy fats (as part of my 30-day Hormone Reset Fast following the principles of Mindy Peltz book “Fast Like a Girl” which I can highly recommend!).
I don’t really measure when I add the ingredients so this is a little approximate measurement! You can’t really go wrong :)
WHAT YOU NEED
- 1 avocado 
- 1 handful frozen spinach 
- 1 handful frozen peas 
- 1 tbs pea protein 
- 1 tbs hemp protein 
- 1 tsp maca 
- 1 tsp wheatgrass 
- 1 cup soaked chia seeds 
- 2 cups Oat milk 
- 1 tbs almond butter 
HOW TO MAKE IT
Put all ingredients except the chia in a high-speed blender. Be a bit careful with the frozen veggies if you’re not sure what your blender can handle, add a little at a time. Once the smoothie is smooth pour in the soaked chia seeds and stir well. Find your favourite glass and pour it in! :)
